FURIAhave qualified for the Americas Minor leading to the FACEIT Major after defeating Yeah2-1 in the grand final of the South American qualifier.
The second South American open qualifier, featuring over 70 teams competing in a single-elimination bracket, saw most of the favourites reach the latter stages, with Virtue being the first big-name side to fall after being pitted against FURIA in the Round of 16.
Guilherme "spacca" Spacca's side went on to beat Isurus and Bulldozer to secure the first spot in the final. From the other side of the bracket came Yeah, who survived a three-map thriller against Sharks in the semi-finals with former TeamOne member Caike "caike" Costa acting as a stand-in.
The grand final began on Train, the most contested of the three maps. FURIA took a 3-1 lead after losing the pistol round, but Yeah came fighting back and took nine rounds into the second half after preventing their opponents from stringing rounds together. The second half was also a very close affair, but, in the end, Yeah ran out victorious, with Alexandre "xand" Zizi finishing the game with a 1.50 Rating and a 101 ADR.

Next up was Inferno, which was a complete blowout. Yeah first managed to get on the board 13 rounds into the game, but they still kept their hopes alive after taking the final three rounds of the half. FURIA would not let a comeback happen, however, and quickly wrapped things up to take the series to Mirage.
The first half of Mirage was a complete one-sided affair, with FURIA cruising to an 11-4 lead after constantly resetting Yeah's economy. Caio "zqkS" Fonseca's side still tried to get back in the game in the second half and twice managed to string three rounds together, but it was in vain as FURIA would eventually lock down the map.
